10 reasons to unplug from the political charade

The obvious reason not to vote is because our Federal Leaders are violators of human rights all over the world, and voting for them makes one guilt by association in their bloody hand but here are 10 other reasons why not to cooperate...

1. Low your stress level - paying attention to all these ads could be hazardous to your stress level. Just forgetting it all together could help.

2. Get time to know your community - being involved on a community level is the best way to impact society. Helping the direct community around you strengthens people and brings a cohesiveness to the people around you.

3. Don't empower the corporations - by watching all the commercials, debates and mainstream media, people are assisting them in spreading their propaganda. The attention they get dictates the level of importance it has.

4. It's a race for rich people only. Most of the issues debated and argued, don't effect the average person in a positive way, no matter what the rich are always protected in one way or another, while the poor remain poor. The candidates just argue over how to handle the poor.

5. The system is flawed. Many state have a winner take all system in the electoral college system, ruling through mob rule.

6. Massive voter fraud corrupts the entire pool of votes. i.e. the film "The Bush Family Fortune." Bain capital has bought voting machines in Colorado and Ohio. over 30,000 dead people voted last time, 1400 people under 14 voted in Iowa, and the list goes on. 1.4 Million votes were lost in 2008.

7. Local control is the key to ensure liberty. The Federal government is out of control. People must have local regulation and control of their food, information, education, finances and politics. Voting for these Federal criminals continues to help them maintain control.

8. The Federal Government is in cahoots with all the major corporations, often scandals and violations of human rights are not publicized. Monsanto, Pepsi, and other companies are killing people from their food products, the government helps to protect these companies.

9. Neither Candidate are anti-war. War is a major money maker, until we are offered a candidate that has a new foreign policy, why should anyone vote for these war-mongering criminals.

10. The Federal Reserve - The true problem with out economy is the Federal Reserve, no one should vote for anything until the Federal Reserve is abolished.

Debate 1: Turf Translation Part 1

here is a Hood translation of what these guys where saying.. this is only the first part. I will release a part everyday until the next debate.. thanks for the Idea DJ K-tone...

JIM LEHRER: There is a noise exception right now, though, as we welcome President Obama and Governor Romney.

(APPLAUSE)

Gentlemen, welcome to you both. Let's start the economy, segment one, and let's begin with jobs. What are the major differences between the two of you about how you would go about creating new jobs?

You have two minutes. Each of you have two minutes to start.
A coin toss has determined, Mr. President, you go first.

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Well, thank you very much, Jim, for this opportunity. I want to thank Governor Romney and the University of Denver for your hospitality.
There are a lot of points I want to make tonight, but the most important one is that 20 years ago I became the luckiest man on Earth because Michelle Obama agreed to marry me.
And so I just want to wish, Sweetie, you happy anniversary and let you know that a year from now we will not be celebrating it in front of 40 million people.

(Translations: I’m about to use my 20 years of marriage to woo some of the votes, because I know you ladies eat up romantic stuff. What better stage than primetime Debate… Michelle you better love your man.)

(LAUGHTER)

You know, four years ago we went through the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. Millions of jobs were lost, the auto industry wason the brink of collapse. The financial system had frozen up.

(Translation: Yall know this shit was fucked up way before I got here.)

And because of the resilience and the determination of the American people, we've begun to fight our way back. Over the last 30 months, we've seen 5 million jobs in the private sector created. The auto industry has come roaring back. And housing has begun to rise.

(Translation: Because America is the shit, we overcame that shit. In the last couple years we hired a bunch of people to the government, Eminem and my rapper partners got everyone to buy American cars again, and shit even some of them bought houses.)

But we all know that we've still got a lot of work to do. And so the question here tonight is not where we've been, but where we're going.

(Translation: This shit ain’t over people, get off your lazy asses and let’s go to work.)

Governor Romney has a perspective that says if we cut taxes, skewed towards the wealthy, and roll back regulations, that we'll be better off. I've got a different view.

(Translation: This white dude over here, he thinks we should let rich people get off and play freely with their buddies and we will make more money in this country. He got me twisted.)

I think we've got to invest in education and training. I think it's important for us to develop new sources of energy here in America, that we change our tax code to make sure that we're helping small businesses and companies that are investing here in the United States, that we take some of the money that we're saving as we wind down two wars to rebuild America and that we reduce our deficit in a balanced way that allows us to make these critical investments.

(Translation: Have you been to public school, it’s still screwed up, we need to help them. We need windmills and shit, these gas prices are crazy, I gotta talk to the accountants to get some of my homies under the tax regulations.. oh yeah we still bombing people but were trying to dead that shit, so we can use some of that money to fix our own shit.)

Now, it ultimately is going to be up to the voters, to you, which path we should take. Are we going to double-down on the top-down economic policies that helped to get us into this mess? Or do we embrace a new economic patriotism that says America does best when the middle class does best? And I'm looking forward to having that debate.

(Translation: Once again it’s up to the real people of this country to do the work, but you would much rather have me than that white dude over there. Peace)

LEHRER: Governor Romney, two minutes.

MITT ROMNEY: Thank you, Jim. It's an honor to be here with you, and I appreciate the chance to be with the president. I'm pleased to be at the University of Denver, appreciate their welcome, and also the presidential commission on these debates.
And congratulations to you, Mr. President, on your anniversary. I'm sure this was the most romantic place you could imagine here -- here with me. So I ...

(Translation: I’ma act like Im honored to be with you Barry, and thanks to that commission that kept Ron Paul and Gary Johnson out of these debates, but don’t pull that romance card on me Mr. President, You’re mine tonight.)

(LAUGHTER
Congratulations. (Translation:I hate happy married people)

This is obviously a very tender topic. I've had the occasion over the last couple of years of meeting people across the country. I was in Dayton, Ohio, and a woman grabbed my arm, and she said, "I've been out of work since May. Can you help me?"

(Translation: I know people are hurting across the country so I’ma tell you a little tale about a broke chick in Ohio who don’t like you Obama.)

Ann yesterday was at a rally in Denver, and a woman came up to her with a baby in her arms, and said, "Ann, my husband has had four jobs in three years, part-time jobs. He's lost his most recent job. And we've now just lost our home. Can you help us?"

(Translation: You making me look like Jesus, Obama. Even poor people in Colorado don’t like you…take this lady Ann and her husband for example.)

And the answer is, yes, we can help, but it's going to take a different path, not the one we've been on, not the one the president describes as a top-down, cut taxes for the rich. That's not what I'm going to do.

(Translation: Hell yeah I’m the man up in this piece bitch, but we ain’t going that socialism, forward direction Obama wants.)

My plan has five basic parts. One, get us energy independent, North American energy independent. That creates about 4 million jobs. Number two, open up more trade, particularly in Latin America, crack down on China, if and when they cheat. Number three, make sure our people have the skills they need to succeed and the best schools in the world. We're a far way from that now. Number four, get us to a balanced budget.

(Translation: One, Gas cost too much for these broke people, we need to hire some of them to my friend’s big businesses, We need to trade with some of those Brown countries in South America whose economy is kicking our ass, and stop them damn Chinese from stealing all our jobs. Four we need to train some of you people that don’t have any skills, and then make sure we are bringing in more bread then we are spending.. don’t get high on your own supply.)

Number five, champion small business. It's small business that creates the jobs in America. And over the last four years, small- business people have decided that America may not be the place to open a new business, because new business startups are down to a 30-year low. I know what it takes to get small business growing again, to hire people.

(Translation: Some of y'all gotta open some business or something, cuz we can’t hire everyone.)

Now, I'm concerned that the path that we're on has just been unsuccessful. The president has a view very similar to the view he had when he ran four years, that a bigger government, spending more, taxing more, regulating more -- if you will, trickle-down government -- would work.

That's not the right answer for America. I'll restore the vitality that gets America working again. Thank you.

(Translation: Obviously this fool don’t know what the hell he is doing or people would have jobs…Government sumverment, Now America Hire me and I’ll get you a job.)

LEHRER: Mr. President, please respond directly to what the governor just said about trickle-down -- his trickle-down approach, as he said yours is.

(Translation:Ooooooooooooooh, You gonna let him diss your policies like that Mr. Pres?)

OBAMA: Well, let me talk specifically about what I think we need to do. First, we've got to improve our education system and we've made enormous progress drawing on ideas both from Democrats and Republicans that are already starting to show gains in some of the toughest to deal with schools. We've got a program called Race to the Top that has prompted reforms in 46 states around the country, raising standards, improving how we train teachers.

(Translation: It’s cool, I got this. We need to fix schools like I said, and we got rid of that Bush Plan and our plan works much better.)

So now I want to hire another 100,000 new math and science teachers, and create 2 million more slots in our community colleges so that people can get trained for the jobs that are out there right now. And I want to make sure that we keep tuition low for our young people.

(Translation: You ain’t the only one with Job idea’s Mitt, watch this. We gonna hire some new math teachers, science teachers, and send ya kids to college. That’s right, cheaper tuition too.)

When it comes to our tax code, Governor Romney and I both agree that our corporate tax rate is too high, so I want to lower it, particularly for manufacturing, taking it down to 25 percent. But I also want to close those loopholes that are giving incentives for companies that are shipping jobs overseas. I want to provide tax breaks for companies that are investing here in the United States.

(Translation: Gov. Mitt and I agree, we got too many homies with corporations that are losing money they could give to our campaigns. Oh yeah we’re sorry about outsourcing Caddy’s to China, I’ma fix that this time.)

On energy, Governor Romney and I, we both agree that we've got to boost American energy production, and oil and natural gas production are higher than they've been in years. But I also believe that we've got to look at the energy sources of the future, like wind and solar and biofuels, and make those investments.

(Translation: Right now our energy plan is kicking ass and we ain’t using Oil that much anymore, but we got some new shit we gonna drop on y’all soon. Hot shit.)

So all of this is possible. Now, in order for us to do it, we do have to close our deficit, and one of the things I'm sure we'll be discussing tonight is, how do we deal with our tax code? And how do we make sure that we are reducing spending in a responsible way, but also, how do we have enough revenue to make those investments?

(Translation: Na we ain’t making that up. But we gotta clear up some confusing complicated tax shit y’all don’t understand and see if we got the bread to spend on those ideas.)

And this is where there's a difference, because Governor Romney's central economic plan calls for a $5 trillion tax cut -- on top of the extension of the Bush tax cuts -- that's another trillion dollars -- and $2 trillion in additional military spending that the military hasn't asked for. That's $8 trillion. How we pay for that, reduce the deficit, and make the investments that we need to make, without dumping those costs onto middle-class Americans, I think is one of the central questions of this campaign.

(Translation: This dude wants to let the rich guys get off with more taxes, just like Bush, TRILLLLLIONs of dollars, not just some bullshit. How he gonna do all that shit he was talking and cut taxes? Huh?)

LEHRER: Both of you have spoken about a lot of different things, and we're going to try to get through them in as specific a way as we possibly can.

(Translation: Damn can y’all stay on topic, you making this shit hard on me.)

But, first, Governor Romney, do you have a question that you'd like to ask the president directly about something he just said?

(Translation: Can you believe the audacity of this dude Mitt? What you think?)

ROMNEY: Well, sure. I'd like to clear up the record and go through it piece by piece.

(Translation: Oh I’m about to get stupid in this piece.)

First of all, I don't have a $5 trillion tax cut. I don't have a tax cut of a scale that you're talking about. My view is that we ought to provide tax relief to people in the middle class. But I'm not going to reduce the share of taxes paid by high-income people. High-income people are doing just fine in this economy. They'll do fine whether you're president or I am.

(Translation: I never said that shit, I don’t have a $5 Trillion dollar tax cut. You’re Tripping, I’m trying to help the middle class. Rich People are gonna be good no matter who is the President.)

The people who are having the hard time right now are middle- income Americans. Under the president's policies, middle-income Americans have been buried. They're just being crushed. Middle- income Americans have seen their income come down by $4,300. This is a -- this is a tax in and of itself. I'll call it the economy tax. It's been crushing.

(The people who are having a hard time right now are mom and pop shops, and people who work a 9-5. This guy is killing the working man, they ain’t got shit. The working man is getting taxed by the man, call it a pimp slap.)

Part two coming tomorrow.. gets messy

Candidates offer two different methods

First off let me preface this by saying, I do not think that either of these gentleman will change the fact that the American Public are in for some changes in the next four years. The U.N. and world structure of government is sure to attack the economic rights of the U.S. Population,, the candidates shows sharp contrasts in their outlook of how to direct the country though those times.

The phenomenon associated with these actions and political moves by different bodies of interests around the world has been dubbed "The Currency Wars," by Financial expert Max Kieser. The manipulation of currency is the key element that is often overlooked by corporate controlled candidates, like these two. I found a couple of points interesting and think that the two candidates have painted themselves as very different Characters.

The Debate

Many of the mainstream media talking heads are declaring Mitt Romney the winner, which I would agree with generally. The initial impression I got from the body language of the President as he gave the upper-hand to Mitt Romney in the proceeding handshake, and added a tap to his back as they parted ways, to impose dominance, suggests the President's confidence may have finally showed some vulnerability.

Overall Obama painted himself as a construct of social programs, protector of the middle class, and as having a sound plan for the next four-years.

Romney's picture was very different one, portraying himself as Manager of Business, a Father figure of sorts, and a self-proclaimed improved difference from the current administration.

I believe that both candidates know there will economic attacks from the the world structure will come at the U.S. and the debt manipulation is likely to face a flux of hyper-inflation.

So Obama basically has given the impression he will continue to prey on the fears of the people to usher in legislation to manage the problems that are likely to arise, with hysterical continued media manipulation and government growth.

Romney as pitched himself as a protector of the rich, and shredder of the social safety programs. While channeling the proceeds to vampire bankers and hedge fund operators, he will erase many of the government operations that Obama enacted, to try to balance the budget.

However I think both missed a very big opportunity to take outstanding lead in this debate by acknowledging the amount of money spent on the two biggest wars in American History, The War on Terror and The War on Drugs. Both of these so called wars have destroyed the lives of families and communities all over the world, While never making our lives safer or more prosperous.

The independent voter may be leaning towards Mitt right now, I don't think Obama has the fortitude to withstand all the scandals his administration is involved in and outlast the pockets of Mitt Romney as well.

Romney 1 Obama 0

My Bible Question of the Day

I have always been a student of Theology, regardless of a position of opinion on organized religion. Here today I came across this section of scriptures in Daniel, which talks about the end times. I find it weird this section about "The King who exalts himself," seems to be the current situation... it says Libya and Egypt will be subdued... hmm? what do you think? could this be our current sitation? Starting at verse 42 I find it interesting that the scriptures are that specific about Libya and Egypt.

The King Who Exalts Himself

36 “The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place. 37 He will show no regard for the gods of his ancestors or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all. 38 Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses; a god unknown to his ancestors he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts. 39 He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price.[d]

40 “At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood. 41 He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand. 42 He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape. 43 He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt, with the Libyans and Cushites[e] in submission. 44 But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many. 45 He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at[f] the beautiful holy mountain. Yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.

_______________

There are a couple reasons I think this is talking about today's society. One it comes right after the prophecies about the end of days and the wars during times of "peace." Second it is the final words in the book of Daniel, to me which signifies the final battle between the Lord almighty and the anti-christ.

Something I find interesting is that the King of the North ( which I could see being Russia) has actually put troops in the southern allies and has set ships out in the same fashion. The specific inclusion of Egypt, Libya and the Cushities is very important.

Music is Healing

During times of great emotion one can identify a song that will bring some sense of solace to them. Turn on a different song and one can get hyped up, angry, sad and so forth.

The question of the impact of those songs is something like the chicken and the egg... Which came first?

Did the feeling become attached to the song via  a persons heart? or did the original artist impress emotion onto the song that transcends and is inferred by the listener?

Through my studies I have found some of the answers through Plato's Republic, working within the music industry, but none have been more enlightening than the information shed by the eastern philosophy of Chakras.

The Chakras is short are the seven centers of light said to be placed on a human being. Starting at the "base" where the sexual organs reside, moving up to the belly known as the "sacral." Then moving higher to the heart chakra, followed by the throat, "third-eye" and "crown" chakra.

The philosophy of chakras is based in deep Hindu and Buddhist theology, but there are some that would say they date further back to roots due to Jainism. Relating this conclusion to its phonetic relationship to the written language Sanskrit. The translation of Chakra to be Wheel or light... or Wheel of Light.

The theory is that at each light center there is a body part that works in conjunction with the endocrine system. The endocrine system then secretes different stimuli to the body and brain that are connected with the spiritual energy that one may take in or give off. These wheels of light, all different colors, together create what has popularly known as an Aura.

So if someone is consumed by hate or malice, it could create a chakra-inbalance that would display a negative aura or energy of a person so to speak.

So how does this relate to music?

Well think of your body as a radio antenna that picks up different waves, kind of like the eye computes waves of light. See our eyes operate on a very narrow band of frequencies, these are known as the Visual Spectrum of Light. However there are many frequencies that are not scene by
the eye.

These are things like radio-waves, microwaves, x-rays and more. The eyes is only one receiver of those waves, in this theory.

Music much like light travels in waves...

Check out this video by Black Dot the writer of Hip-hop Decoded giving a simple lecture about the theory and how it relates to Hip-hop.

Consider this... through-out religion there is always an aspect of music, chanting, singing, and other musical influence.

It was also said in the Christian religion that Lucifer was the father of music.

More food for thought, think about the fact that music is one of the universal languages practiced by all tribal-societies. Drums always used before war, around agricultural seasons and other natural phenomenon.

Black Dot makes the argument that music is a complete expression of self and vibrancy of the spirit. He makes the argument that due to the nature of the music in today's music all of the beats flutter at a low frequency that hits the root and sacral chakras.

These chakras are said to be the rulers of sexual energy and materialist need. He continues to claim that the "overseers" of the music industry wish to control the masses by sexual perversion and material need for wealth through the music itself.

One particular case to look at is 2pac. If we were to label him as a representation of a chakra it would most certainly be the heart chakra....Peep what Shock G said about him.

2pac appealed to the heart and feeling of general people in need.

Something I found quite interesting was a parallel between something Jesus said and a Eastern Philosphy like Chakras... In Eastern philosophy there is a saying to have balance in Mind, Body and Spirit.

In his very last moments before his disciples, prior going up to the Mount Olive to pray,
In Luke 21:34 Jesus gives this advice to his disciples about the end times... “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.

One of the meanings of dissipated means to be concerned with frivolous affairs. Which i would attribute to the mind. Keeping the mind busy with things of no real relevance, like soap operas, games, reality tv and so forth.

Drunkeness is obviously a physical action. To become drunken in anything takes a physical action.

When I hear the anxieties of life, I think oh how much the weight of bills, lifestyle take a toll of the spirit.

Either by coincidence, via God, or study of Eastern philosophy. jesus was saying keep balance in mind, body and spirit.

Music is definitely a tool that hits the spirit and the mind. If we do not value the level of healing or destruction music can play in our lives it can be easy to become dissipated in the pursuit of rims, cars and other shiny objects.

Music like Mozart can take your mind to a very serene place. it is very important that we feed our mind and ears with music that is edifying to the spirit in order to maintain a balance as we are increasingly becoming bombarded with violent, materialized, militarized music.

I am a Creator

Culture. It is such a small word to describe something so rich in context.

Culture. It is something I have always struggled defining, and for many people, something that is not understood easily in the U.S.
Often we are labeled by general names like "Black," Hispanic," and such that we never take the time to understand what culture really is.

Now just to be clear, in the United States there is culture BUT the common pop culture is an "impressed culture," not a true culture.

I have read dozens of books on the sociological effects culture has not only on a person but on the Macro level, so I will try to be as concise and practical as I can on the topic.

In order to TRULY understand culture one must first understand their history and allow the knowledge thereof to empower themselves to be what we truly were meant to be, CREATORS.

To understand culture and it's true meaning beyond the impressed culture one must find themselves first.

Background: I am a of Spanish, Italian, Aztec, Cherokee, French, and other Native American tribes genealogically. Raised in Denver Colorado. A "Chicano", who does not speak spanish and was raised with just as many Black friends as I did Latino friends.

One thing I have always struggled to understand was why I would encounter reverse racism, from Mexicans imp articular who were so proud of speaking spanish and being a "Real Mexican." This is something at keeps the Latino Community from organizing. A basic tactic of Europeans, as shown in history in India and Africa.

By making people of tribal descent fight over small differences between us, it allows someone else to control the masses. Let me elaborate.

The first thing someone does who speaks Spanish when you do not is to scoff at the fact you speak English, insinuating that you are white. A immediate correlation to the rulers who oppose our own tribal ancestors.

For an explanation on this I am going to refer to my obsession with the civil rights movement, black leaders and Pan-Africanist. Often in my life I have had people accuse me of acting black, when in all actuality I was only engaging in the impressed media driven culture given to me.

However I have always found the struggle of the Black race very fascinating for a couple of reasons. One because I was raised poor and it was easy to relate to the lifestyle of the urban centers of america. Two I have always understood that if the rulers of this country wish to destroy the power of the people it will be through destroying the black race first, then on to the next whether it be Latinos or Asian, and so forth.

So in order to fight back against those who wish to destroy us all, we must study those who trail blazed against those forces in the past. Probably due to the media and lack of information, as a Latino-american there are very little leaders in the past, Ceaser Chavez, Corky Gonzales, Che Guevara and so forth. So I studied Huey Newton, Marcus Garvey, George Washington Carver, and so forth.

For all the similarities Latino have with the Black population in the United States we have one thing that is significantly different.

Africans were cut off from their culture twice, once when brought from Senegal or West Africa to the new world. 2nd when the U.S suppressed the revolution in the 1960's and the suppression of the Civil Rights movement.

Latinos however, suffer from an internal generational anger. See there are two things ALL Latinos have in common.

One everyone of us has both tribal and European ancestry. At some point all one of our ancestors was raped by a European settler.

Two we all have been generational victims of some form of European Imperialism. Which brings us back to the discussion of reverse racism.

What is done in American with the propaganda of Nationalism, Consumerism and Militarism is put on the U.S. and Mexico. Why you ask? because our medias are both ruled by the elite European Bankers. the very people who destroyed our tribal ancestors.

Nothing is more evident to this than the languages we speak.

Spanish is only the spoken language of South America and Mexico because of the Spanish Settlers who imposed their culture on our ancestors.

Similarly because I am the victim of generational British Imperialism I speak English.

So to identify one's self first is to understand this. Then to go back and find the true culture of your ancestors.

What you will find most of the time is that we come from tribal roots. My ancestors danced in circles around the drum as well, and lived their lives as CREATORS.

Art, Dance, Music, Food, Knowledge are Universal Cultures we all have. So to be consumed by this impressed culture keeps one from knowing their true self and their purpose.. which is ...

To be a CREATOR....

SAY IT AGAIN... I AM A CREATOR.

Pictures:
Deadline: 6/14

Subject/Headliner: Trouble in Syria

Research: Russians recently accused by US and UN of selling Syria aircraft due to protestors. In which Moscow responded saying the aircraft was sold years ago and this shipment is just to fufill those commitment. Adding that the us funds rebels constantly in the region

“unlike the United States, which regularly supplies that region with such special equipment, including one such shipment [that] went to one of the Gulf countries recently, but for some reason the Americans consider this to be in order”.
Syria is becoming another Libya in which the US insist it in not involved militarily.

Haitian Children

Haitian Children

Just as the waves wash into the coast,

We were rushed into the boats.

A weary ride for the worry-eyed,

A esclave kind arrived with the tide,

Stripped from the tribe.

Paradise our eyes wake to,

Finding there is nowhere to escape to.

Time passes as the birds through the air,

And we stand for Liberte' from the legionnaire.

No chains or bloodshed from the crack of the whip,

We are left alone for most of our parents are sick.

Eske ou Malad? Why are you crying?

I searched for food of which I could not find.

I should read to gain wisdom to change our conditions,

Although we know the mulatto will not help our positions.

Though our houses are tattered and streets over run,

We are surrounded by mountains and beautiful sun.

Through centuries have lived though battered by weather,

Now they take what holds the very soil together.

Now tables, chairs, and paper is well enjoyed,

While we starve, suffer and our homes are destroyed.

Nuggets going with new trend: Character players

Long gone are the days of the "Denver Thuggets" who stood two games away from the NBA finals.

Ok the Nuggets tried the street route with Allen Iverson, Kenyon Martin, Carmelo, Birdman, J.R. Smith.

The signing of Wilson Chandler today by Nuggets brass shows they are committed to character more than pure talent. The move could pay off in the long term.

Read my blog about the Broncos during week 3. I don't wanna brag, but I told you so.

With the emergence of great draft picks like Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried, the Nuggets are stacked not only with talent but character.

Right now.. Lawson, Galo, Mozgov, Faried, Afflalo, Chandler and newly aquired Javale McGee are locked into long term contracts. With Harrington, Miller, Anderson, Fernandez and Brewer locked in for the playoffs.

The biggest problem for George Karl is that he has too many weapons. Something he is not typically good at managing.

My biggest grip with Karl has always been that he does not have the right lineups playing in the late games of the playoffs.

I mean let's go back to game 3 of the WCF against the lakers and the insertion of Anthony Carter to throw the ball in. Carter should be banned from Denver forever for that pass. If not for that play the Nuggets could have been up 2-1. The following game he allow the dumbass Kenyon Martin to fall into the same exact play.

To win a Championship you must have 8 players with significant talents. Starting five, a good back up point guard, a tweener Big man who can guard 4's or 5's, and a wild card player.

Right now the starting Ideally would be

Lawson, Afflalo, Galo, Faried, Mozgov.
insert
Miller/pg
harrington/ tweener big man
Chandler - wild Card

with a 9man rotation of Anderson/Fernandez/Brewer depending on the opponent and you have a bad ass playoff line up.

Hopefully Karl can get the most out of this lineup and the Nugz can make a deep Playoff run. If not... We will be in the playoffs every year for the next 5 anyway.

Carmelo resurrected the franchise and he was my favorite player, but what he did by leaving us was better than anything he could have done in a Nuggets uniform. Thanks Melo

The Lingering Effects of Death

I am writing this blog because it is therapy.

I know people see me in social networking and probably wonder, what is this guys problem? I accept that, however there is much more beyond the depth of my surface that makes up who I am. I first want to say for anyone who reads this; I do not require or want pity.

Since the moment I was born, death has loomed over me like a cloud. I could have died at birth if not for the pumps to keep my lungs working. That is a miracle in it's self.

at the Age of 4 I seen my first murder. My cousin cut a man from stomach to groin while holding my hand in West Denver. Now from there on it just steam rolled.

By 5 I had witnessed 4 different murders, two by gun, two by knife.

Unfortunately at the Age of 6 I witnessed my own mother shot 4 times point blank range with a .45. Needless to say something that will never be erased from my brain. She survived, but that was only the beginning of the chaos.

In the midst of a 90's crack epidemic, my mother's injuries lead her to become addicted to crack-cocaine.

I have slept in every shelter in Denver, city park, the bus station. I have been a 7 year old child out in the cold night at 3am. I have slept in the crack house.

Unfortunately death kept following me. by the age of 12 I had witnessed 7 murders, and lost friends to gang violence.

by the time I was 14 I was no longer living with my parents and dropped out of high school as a freshman. I did manage to go back.. throughout my school career I went to 17 public schools.

fortunatly ... (book in the works).. something miraculous happened to me. God gave me a vision. About myself and my family's problems. That was 4 years ago.

Due only to sheer determination not to end up stuck in the hood I have embarked on a journey in my professional life that has lead me to some incredible feats in my eyes.

However at the end of the day, all the things I have been through and wtinessed have been burned into my heart and mind.

Although I strive to become more professional and controlled, I struggle trying to rationalize people's actions among other things.

I bottled up my anger, rage, love, hate and every emotion for so long, now that I am free to be myself. I do not know how to control my emotions.

I know this is not a trait that is supposed to be associated with a man, but I cannot and will not suppress how I feel about anything. I can't... it leads to a darker road. Even though I battle with depression, I feel like I am winning the fight and have lots of reasons to hold my head high.

Please do not take this as plea for attention, for those who truly know me or care about me this is only a glimpse of myself I share with you so you know why be wilding out.

I appreciate your support.

Bobby V

This week is hot in Denver CO hip hop from two contrasting emcees.

Whygee drops more heat with the master of the keys with Qnox

I Need $

The album is laced with nice beats and my favorite track is probably the bass heavy "Money Mantra" where Whygee kick stinging lyrics like "while yall rapping bout nothing/Acting all tough when you soft as a muffin".

The other hot news of the week involves the artist PRIES. He is set to drop No Glue 2 and has twitter and the net buzzing with his latest single feat Kid Ink. I have to give it to Pries, his marketing approaches and ideas take on a lot of traction within his market and I admire what he is doing. Dropping a stack of free mixtapes at the Aurora Mall is a good idea to get the kids hearing the sounds. Can't wait to hear it.

here is the cover.. once again, Tech Savvy.

CO MUSIC UPDATE

The Denver music scene is smoking hot right now, if you're from Denver and have been sleeping on the artists here it's time for a little wake up cup of coffee from ya boy Ontoneyo.

Right now there is an artist making music at a high level in almost every demographic.

DJ K-tone is really trying to put the city on the map with his recent release of

Left Lane Music

The album is full of bangers. It starts off nice with the Cabby song feat Young Joc "Left Lane" in which Young Joc raps a smooth crooner style hook over a ride in whip with mean mug type of beat.

Pries and Esi Juey definitely steal the show on this compilation with "Ike Turner" and "Chalupa" respectively.

The Rockie assisted hit "Ike Turner" slaps with charisma and with the pre-released video to knock it out the park.

While Chalupa and Esi Juey bring the Hood to the table with the "Chalupa." The self-proclaimed East side Denver rep, Esi Juey is "sharp as a corner" and just wants the moolah. The song is a definite hood classic.

Other notables are Innerstate Ike with E-40 in "From the Turf", Anxious's "Put it in the Air," and Aires Jackson F/ Foe with "Baby Girl."

CO Stand Up.

In the last month or so there have been a ton of stars here in Denver. New Years went off with a thud, as The DTC New years event ended in Locked out doors and shootings.

I dont wanna shit on no ones event so I wont post any photos but you can google it but we was living the Good Life at www.Casselmans.com Popping a bottle or two.
Matter of fact we been doing a lot of things at Casselmans and have had Slim Thug, Sean Paul, Kat Deluna, Young Dro and more in the last few months, check it out here.

The Council of Hypnautic , King Tef , Black P and Johnny Rockets stay on work and are dropping like a video a week.

check it here EMPIRE FILMZ

also

Video Wise,

The Canon Boyz of 6Four and Y.G. Gunna Green seem to be hard at work with all the videos they been dropping..Keep up the work yall.

The most slept on Video guys in Denver I don't see the East side work with are

Eric Heights

and

Vince Lance - Who is aboslutely ridiculous sick.

Mane Rok & DeeJay Tense - "This One's" (TimeLine Remix) from Vince Lance on Vimeo.

Undertaker TME by tme303
